First-Class Mail has specific size and weight limits for postcards, letters, and large envelopes (flats).

Postcards must be between 3.5 x 5 inches and 4.25 x 6 inches, and no more than 0.016 inches thick.
Letters have a maximum weight of 3.5 ounces, with dimensions of 6⅛ x 11½ inches and a thickness of 0.009 to ¼ inch.
Large envelopes (flats) can weigh up to 13 ounces and have maximum dimensions of 12 x 15 inches and a thickness of ¼ to ¾ inch.

First-Class Mail Size Restrictions:

Postcards:
- Minimum: 3.5 x 5 inches
- Maximum: 4.25 x 6 inches
- Thickness: 0.007 to 0.016 inches
Letters:
- Maximum Weight: 3.5 ounces
- Minimum: 3.5 x 5 inches
- Maximum: 6⅛ x 11½ inches

Large Envelopes (Flats):
